Susan Glassman Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Glassman, a beloved daughter, wife, stepmother, and friend to all. Susan was a vibrant soul, known for her infectious laughter, sharp wit, and kind heart. She had an unwavering love for animals, always opening her home and yard to critters in need, nurturing them with compassion and care.
Susan was a social butterfly, often found sharing joyous moments with friends at her favorite local hangouts, Alonso and Sons, Interference and Paradise Grill. She loved talking on the phone to her friends and family, especially during her final year’s battle with brain cancer. Susan also loved to play games: Bridge with her husband and her parents, Scrabble with her mom, cards (golf) with her grandson Max and her dear friends Julie and Gary Bowles, and trivia with her family. Susan was a decorating machine for every holiday, and she loved to host a party. Her presence brought light and warmth to every room, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
Susan was born on March 22, 1952, and was the daughter of Regina and Bob Gregory. She was a loving and devoted wife, sharing a beautiful life with her husband Scott Glassman. Susan also leaves behind two stepsons, Matthew (Bridget) Glassman and Benjamin Glassman (Shannon Habisreitinger), and four grandchildren Ashton, Tylor, Dylan, and Max who adored her and will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law Tim (Nancy) Glassman and her sister-in-law Peggy Glassman. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Jon Glassman.
As we bid farewell to Susan, we celebrate the love, joy, and kindness she brought into our lives. Her spirit will forever be cherished and remembered.
In leu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society or the North Shore Humane Society in her name.
