Obituary of Patricia Chun Tseu
Patricia Chun Tseu, 89, passed away on February 26th, 2026, peacefully in her Seattle, Washington, home surrounded by her endearing family.
Patricia (Pat) grew up in Kaimuki, Hawaii, and graduated from Roosevelt High School. During her childhood, Pat enjoyed hula dancing, playing marbles and spending time with her friends. After high school, she attended the University of Hawaiʻi, Drury College, and Kansas State Teachers College. Pat raised five children and prior to retiring worked at the University of Hawaii managing the disbursing office.
In 2006, she moved to Seattle, Washington, where she continued her love for gardening, and loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking day trips to nearby towns, and playing word find and sudoku puzzles. Her favorite color was bright, sunshine yellow and loved everything that color including ducks and popcorn.
Pat was kind-hearted, gentle, and eternally optimistic until her last days with us and we all aspire to have the grace and internal beauty she once held.
Pat is survived by her older sister, Barbara; son Mitchell Tseu, his wife Codell, and their children Trevor and Trenton; her son Ethan Tseu, his wife Jennifer, and their children Ki Ana and Lorin; her daughter Pamela Tseu Atkinson, her husband Olin, and her daughter Hannah and Hannah’s husband Landon, and grandchildren Roselise and Teddy; her son Scott Tseu, his wife Christy, and their daughter Katrina and granddaughter Juniper; and her daughter Heather Tseu Enoki, her husband Todd, and their children Mei and Emi.
Her final resting place will be in Honolulu, Hawaii, at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Pat’s celebration of life service will be held on July 10, 2026. Mitchell, Ethan, Pam, Scott and Heather,
What a beautiful and touching tribute and celebration of your Mom’s life. It brought back fond memories when we would come and visit all of you at the Hawaii Kai house. I remember her as being very fashionable and a great cook. She had a heart of gold. and a loving spirit. Thank you for sharing her life and special memories of her with us.
We shall miss her. Love you Aunty Pat until we meet again. 💕

I always loved visiting Pat. Her love for her family was so unmistakable and her warmth and kindness just radiated from her! I will miss her tremendously.

Pat blessed my life in so many ways. She made me laugh so hard that I’d cry. Our sense of humor matched and we would tease each other as we walked in the neighborhood. Pat was loving, kind and always willing to help. I looked forward to our time together even if we just sat together and watched the birds at the feeders.
She will remain in my heart!
