Lynza is the sweetest, brightest girl. I was an EA in her class at community connections one year. She would always answer the questions in christian studies class, so passionate about the Lord. She would also help students in the class that didn’t have a partner and was so patient with classmates. Helpful and generous, quick to listen to serve others. She was compassionate, intelligent, lovely, and had a good sense of humor. My heart and prayers go out to all family. I am deeply grieved, and am so sorry for this loss of beautiful Lynza. She will be dearly missed.

Thank you for sharing Lynza with us one more time, today. It was a privilege and an inspiration to be at her service. As she told us “God’s plan is perfect”. It brought to mind the poem, “Not ’til the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly, will God unroll the canvas and reveal the reason why, the dark threads are as needful in the Weaver’s skillful hand, as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned. He knows, He loves, He cares; Nothing this truth can dim, He gives the very best to those, who leave the choice to Him.”

Sending so much love to the Henke Family, especially today as you celebrate Lynza’s beautiful life. She was a living testament of faith, and we will miss her bright smile at your family store. Through reading more about her passions, devotion, and service, she blesses us all further. Our family will for sure purchase her fudge at the IPE and we will ring our heaven chimes we have at our home in a dedicated garden space, and let her know how amazing it is and how amazing she is. She will be missed. That period and question mark statement made Proverbs 3:5-6 flash through my mind, “Trust in the the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.” XO

Your post of Lynza’s life gave us insight into what an incredible young woman she was. It allowed us to see her love for her Lord, her family, her friends and for the seniors. She was a girl who was mature beyond her years. The closing line of her obituary has the largest impact on me “Although we do not understand why Lynza was taken from us at 15 years of age we are very thankful for the years that we had her. We need to learn to not put a question mark where God has put a period.” 🎼📖🩷❤️‍🩹🎹🥣🍨 ❤. Sending love ❤

I also thot of the last sentence in the obit…”Where God puts a period, we dare not put a question-mark”. This spells TRUST!!! “THE PLAN OF THE MASTER WEAVER”… last sentence: “THE DARK THREADS ARE AS NEEDFUL IN THE WEAVER’S SKILLFUL HAND, AS THE THREADS OF GOLD & SILVER IN THE PATTERN HE HAS PLANNED.”
Take courage 🙂 !! Lotsa love betty [stelfox] hredil

My deepest & sincere condolences to your family. I don’t recall chatting with Lynza personally over the times that I’d stop in Vernon Teach & Learn over the years; however I’m sure that I seen her in there without noticing enough. Your store has always been our kids favorite down town curiosity stop & my go-to for seeking any ” specialty” toys & kids things that the big box stores don’t carry. Your staff has & continued to be amazing with their customer service. Even on the busiest of some days ( I’ve walked in during ) everyone working there show a true passion for going above & beyond. My heart hurts for you & I can only wish healing and continue support. May you be comforted in knowing many hold your family in prayer & God gives you understanding for your loss. A beautiful daughter; won’t be forgotten.

Lynza was such a kind and beautiful addition to Heritage Christian Online School’s first student council. It was such a joy having her apart of our group; she was very kind and supportive and it was an honour to have been able to work with her. What a privilege and honour to have been Lynza’s piano teacher for so much of her young life! She was a gentle and kind person with inner strength and the perseverance needed to reach her goals. She already had this year planned in advance – filled with piano recitals and preparing for an exam. Janessa and Myrissa would have been driven crazy by her practicing for sure!
My heart is breaking for her family, for her hopes and dreams that were cut short. But I am comforted by knowing that Lynza wanted most of all to come to know our Creator and God. “If you search for him, he will let himself be found by you.” -1 Chronicles 28:9 ❤️❤️❤️❤️🎶🎶

I remember driving up and admiring one girl Janessa, working on some art outside and then she led me into the house, it wasn’t long before I saw her sister Lynza show up, and then Myrissa to check me out. I thought to myself, WOW, what beautiful girls, so peaceful and gentle and kind. I can still see Lynza’s wise face look at me. I had only really known who Myrissa was from her downtown slushy sales the last years. I feel grateful I did meet Lynza and see her soul as a Special one. Dear Lynella, Trevor, Janessa and Myrissa,
In thinking back over our years in Vernon, Lynza was only a little girl of about 4 yrs old when we came here. At 15, she had already grown into a beautiful young lady, not just outwardly but inwardly too. We value the times we have met together with your family to share that which is of eternal value. As hard as it is, each experience can work for us. Our thoughts are with you so often and we trust that God will grant you the greatest of comfort and guidance in days ahead.
    Much love & care,
    Jim & Sheri M.

My dear Lynella, Trevor, Janessa and Myrissa, I want you to know my heart is with you in your great sadness. Lynza will live on in my heart and inspire me to keep on sowing the story of Jesus in coming years . Lynza learned a lot from Jesus in her few short years . What a wonderful comfort that she has gone to be with her Heavenly Father, whom she learned to love .
