Emiline Cowan Obituary
Emiline (Emmy) Cowan, of Chartwell Griesbach Retirement Residence, Edmonton, AB, and formerly of Sherwood Park, AB, passed away peacefully at Sturgeon Community Hospital on March 5, 2024, at the age of 93 years. She was born on April 22, 1930 in Islay, AB to John and Mary Jantz.
Emmy is survived by her 2 sons: Dale (Tanya) and Kevin; grand-daughter Katelyn; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Alma Jantz, Pat Jantz, John Cowan, Percy (Carol) Cowan, Frances Cowan, and Norma Cowan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband Ken; sister Martha Lewis; brothers Emil, Art, Henry, Reynold, Herb, Stanley, (infants Joseph & Albert); sisters-in-law: Gertrude, Agnes, Charlotte, & Norah, and brother-in-law, Ray Lewis; also other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law on the Cowan side.
