HI, Norman, Brent, Darren, Derek, Colleen & family. When I heard of Doreen’s passing, tho I had only met her once @ Silverdale Convention, I was thankful for the faithfulness of another dear one that had “hung up her shield of faith in victory!” A gem: “Every dark cloud has a silver lining!” For all of you, but especially to you, Norman, Derek & dear Brenda [Darren’s wife] whom I’ve known since 1969, may beautiful memories of Doreen’s life be like that ‘silver lining’ at this time of grieving for a dear wife, mother & mother-in-law. Our God is a Father of all comfort & He’ll not fail you now!! Thots & prayers are with you. Betty [Peters/Stelfox] Hredil

We appreciate having Derek with us in Spain for so many years now, and think of him these days with the loss of his mum. But we also think of the hidden sacrifices by Norman & Doreen along the years – having their son away in a faraway land and encouraging him to continue there with their steadfast example. We feel really thankful and inspired by such kingdom minded people. We were privileged to meet them in Spain several times and were touched by their love, kindness and spirit of service. Our thoughts are with the family.
