Our deepest sympathies to the Melvin family. Our first connection to them was through Kent & Linette and Linette’s parents, Alex & Isabelle Howden. We met Fern & Clifford in Hawaii, have experienced warm fellowship in Dennis & Barbie’s home and perhaps feel an extra special connection, as we have both lost teenage children. The gap in your family circle here will be keenly felt. We are so thankful that your friend is the God of all comfort.
    Friends of your friend,

Dear Barbie and family, we were shocked and greatly saddened to hear of Dennis’s passing while we were in Europe. Memories of you folks coming to our Wednesday evening meeting came to mind, as well as the occasional Sunday morning at your home and the great help you and Dennis were to us. There was certainly very sweet fellowship. It’s wonderful to know that we can trust in the God of all comfort to be to us all that we need in life’s sorrows. Our love to you.

My dear Barbie, Shaun & Elva, Bryce, Kent, Linnett and all. I am late in adding to the comments but DO want you to know you have been, and will continue to be, in heart. Hard to really grasp that Dennis has gone on ahead of us. I feel thankful to think of his committment to God and it lasted, and lovely to think of him enjoying to the fullest what our Father promised to His dear children. My love to you all, Betty G.

    Dear Barbie and Family,

I’m very sorry for my late condolences. I couldn’t respond earlier because I didn’t want to believe what I heard.
I was touched by the kindness, warmth of Dennis and I’m so thankful being able to meet him. Barbie and family the thing I know for certain is that Dennis is with our beloved Lord and that helps and gives me hope.
