Ashley Ruth Haney Obituary
Ashley Ruth Haney, age 42, of Stockbridge, GA entered into rest on June 24, 2026. She was born on April 5, 1984, to Alan Ralph Haney and Sylvia Ruth Sampson Haney.
Ashley is preceded in death by her father Alan Haney; grandparents Barbara Ruth Sampson, Doris and Ralph Haney, and Barbara Kirkland; cousin Crystal Kirkland Clark; and aunt Theresa Haney.
She is survived by her mothers Sylvia Haney and Rhonda Kirkland; aunt and uncles Barbara (Wes) Freeman, Albert Haney, Greg (Cindy) Kirkland, Lisa (Scott) Stieb, and Johnny (Linda) Kirkland; cousins Jarrod (Crystal) Freeman, Colden Freeman, Ryan (Nicole) Freeman, Kesa Rager, Aaron Haney, Joe (Lydia) Kirkland, Dexter Kirkland, Christopher Kirkland, Kesha Hunnicutt; Mattie (Johnny) Brown, David O’Bright, Connor Hunnicut, John (Sürücan) Kirkland, Kayla (Seth) Massey, Vivienne Massey, Ellie Massey, Addie Massey, Spencer (Ellie) Stieb, Destry (Kira) Stieb, and Jason Sampson; and many beloved friends, family members, and her EMS family.
Ashley graduated in 2002 from Eagles Landing High School. She attended Gordon University and Atlanta Tech. Immediately following school she became an EMT, then upgraded into a Paramedic and was quickly employed by Rural Metro / AMR. When she was not working, she was taking care of animals, listening to music, or enjoying nature. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family and friends.
