Terese Hawryluk Obituary
Terese Hawryluk passed away peacefully on October 24th, 2025 surrounded by her family. Born in 1959, we were blessed to have Terese for 66 years.
Terese was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all she held dearly. She adored her 3 grandchildren and was grateful to have them in her daily life, whether it was watching one of their sports or performances, taking them to the library (with a cheeky treat along the way) or frequently holding “Grams Camp” for special overnight visits. She always looked for the humor in things and had a beautiful laugh, which was much appreciated by all who spent time with her. Terese loved to travel, both abroad and throughout the US, taking many road trips with her sisters, and always making sure she took them to discover some humorous, obscure spot along the way like the largest ball of twine in Cawker City, KS or posing for a picture while standing on the corner in Winslow AZ.
As a connoisseur of biscuits and gravy, she enjoyed regular brunch dates with her closest friends and after being inspired by the Great British Baking Show, she became the cake connoisseur of the family who made personalized birthday cakes for her grandchildren. She also had a fierce love of dogs, especially animals in need of adoption. Her dog Sadie gave her great comfort and her granddog, Murphy, considered Terese to be his number 1 pack leader. She was preceded in death by her mother, brother and father. She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, 3 grandchildren, 4 sisters, 3 nephews, a niece and their families, as well as her dog Sadie and granddog Murphy.
Please join us to Celebrate the Life of Terese as she continues to smile upon us. During the Celebration of Life, there will be a candle lighting ceremony. The family invites you to have a candle ready to light during this segment.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Operation Kindness, North Texas Lifesaving Animal Shelter where Terese adopted her dog, Sadie.

You always were an inspiration to me. I looked up to you for so many things. I will always remember the hot air balloon ride we shared together since our birthdays are so close together. Funny thing – we landed in a pasture not far from my house! I will always remember your smile, laugh and kind heart!
