Calvin, like so many others, we feel it was a privilege to know Sherri, and we appreciate the example and encouragement that you and Sherri were to us. It was comforting to hear Judy’s reminder that she’s simply moved, a final move to a permanent loving home. We’ll purpose to catch up to her later.

Our thoughts are with you Cavin and your boys along with Eleanor and Betty. My days go back to our teenage years in Summerland and I was so happy to hear that Betty and Sherri were coming to Summerland.. Sherri was so kind to me, like an older sister and she often included me in things she would do. I also have fond memories of being in your home in Kamloops many years ago when Norman had to have work done on his truck there.

Dear Calvin, family & extended family….When I heard of Sherri’s sudden passing, the very first thot that came to mind was: “Where God puts a period, we dare not put a question-mark.” This is our ‘late’ dear ‘Uncle Jack’ Price’s gem. God does not always DO these ‘experiences’ but PERMITS them to happen. The last sentence of that beautiful poem: “THE MASTER WEAVER”: “The dark threads are as needful in the Weaver’s skillful hands, as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.” Especially you, Cal & boys… may we all find deep comfort in those precious words that were penned so many years ago. Thots and prayers are with you as you ‘ journey’ forward. Lovingly, betty [peters/stelfox] hredil Penticton.

Sherrie was in our class at Royal Inland Hospital and although she lived on a different floor and had her own circle of friends, we nevertheless were often thrown together working a shift in the hospital. In fact we were on duty in the delivery room one early morning, when suddenly the woman we were in charge of had to deliver. There was no doctor at such a last minute and together we delivered a baby! That was our claim to fame at that time! What a lovely, competent and composed student nurse I remember. I have not seen Sherrie for years and years. Yet I was jolted to hear the news of this sudden loss from another classmate. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Calvin and her lovely family and friends. Please accept my sincere sympathy and best wishes at this very difficult time.
