Peter D. White, 81, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather was born on July 26, 1940 in New York City and departed this life on January 21, 2022.
God blessed us by placing Peter in our lives. He possessed a dry wit and often told mesmerizing stories that captured your attention. In Peter’s younger years he was a free spirit who enjoyed working with his hands. In fact, he could fix almost any electrical component or appliance. He transformed this joy of working with his hands into a career as a machinist in the airline industry.
Peter’s hobbies included a love of music, maintaining a large music catalog, driving, visiting friends from the neighborhood he grew up in as well as in his later years reading the bible.
Peter is survived by his wife: Ernestine, his siblings: Howard, Angela, his children: Vernon, Denise, Debra, his niece and nephews: Rita, Howard Jr, Gregory, Ronald his grandchildren: Jessica, Amanda, Nicholas and a multitude of other relatives and friends.

I thank God for allowing me to stay in contact with my father. Although we haven’t seen each other in so many years, I enjoyed our conversations. I will miss him dearly, as he will always be in my heart. Love you always, dad.

My deepest sympathy – Peter’s photo evokes memories of growing up on the lower east side of Manhattan. May he take his rightful resting place with his Mom & Dad.
