We are so blessed to have known Pearl and Pat so many years ago. We met at St Edmond’s RCIA in 1999.
Their impact on our life during that time will always be cherished and we are so grateful to have known them both.
I am so glad I got to see her for a special lunch last year (Pam)
Many prayers for all family and friends.
    Rest In Peace

Pearl is our nephew Doug Allen’s mother-in-law. She was a bright addition to our family gatherings, holidays and crawfish boils. She lined danced at my birthday party in 2019 and was happy to let others follow her steps until they caught on! We had talked about volunteering at a festival together but never made it happen. Pearl was always a delight and had a sweet comments for everyone she met. A memory I will keep close is of her “stealing” satsumas from our neighbor’s trees which hang over into our yard. Pearl would have a mischievous grin on her face as she “stole” one even though she knew the neighbors didn’t mind at all. So cute! Our times together were brief but her impact will be long-lasting. We miss you Pearl!

I drive by Pearl’s apartment on my way to Rouses Grocery often and become so very sad! I miss you, Pearl. I miss your calls checking on us. I remember you stopping by our house as we studied Scripture. I remember you and Pat coming over on Christmas morning as we opened gifts and ate…so many memories! I will see you someday never to have to say, “Goodbye”!
    Love, Catherine and Charles

The heavens have gained an Angel with an infectious smile. As my library assistant at Alleman Middle she served and guided our students and teachers graciously with much needed resources. At my Alleman reunions, I was always happy to visit with the 3 musketeers, Pearl, Jan, and Barbara. My only regret is not being able to give Pearl a slice of my hog head cheese for Pat. My condolences to the family; I know you will miss this sweet lady.
    Love and Prayers,
    Nelly Arceneaux, retired Alleman librarian

I had the privilege of working with Miss Pearl at L J Alleman Middle School. She was the bright smile that greeted us as we entered the office each morning. There are so many things she did to make a teacher’s day easier. Those memories come back so clearly looking at her photo. Heaven has gained another angel.

My sympathy & prayers to all her children who she loved dearly & all her family especially Gladys her sister in law. Aunt Pearl was so special to our family. I always looked forward to my birthday call or text from her—-she was always spreading joy!! I remembered as a child she liked to collect strawberry items for her kitchen. I also will never forget her special gift to my family—- she spent the night with our dad before he passed away. A true gift of LOVE! She will be missed by many, especially our mom who was more like a sister than an in-law.
Special aunts…… the joy of life!!! May we all do something special today for someone in memory of Aunt Pearl. Peace to all those who loved her.

Pearl’s loving smile and warm hug was always so genuine. She was full of the Holy Spirit and passed it on to all she was around. Pearl was selfless ,caring for others in many ways. In RCIA I felt she was a true gift to us from God. May she Rest In Peace with her beloved Pat.❤️?
