Dear Ken and family. Gord, Wesley and I lived across the street from Ed and Dodi on Rochester in Sardis for many years. I hope you remember us. Sue and Linda became friends and Sue always admired the closeness and the bond that your family had and the many talents that Kept Linda and Dody busy. We can still see the kids playing in the cul-de-sac on their bikes while Ed was gardening. Please accept our deepest condolences. Truly, we are in shock. She was so young for this to happen. She is with her parents now. Please take good care of yourself

I knew Linda best prior to her marriage to Ken. We travelled together to Australia/New Zealand in the winter of 1982/1983, and then lived together in Regina, SK from April – Dec 1983. Being that we lived so far apart, I would only see her yearly thereafter at GV when I came home to BC. I attended her virtual service on July 20, and especially enjoyed David’s tribute to his mom, as I never knew that side of her life. Linda always had a natural “mothering” instinct, even to her travel buddies and roommates. She will be missed by all. Love and hugs to her family.

To Ken & the Eeles family; Our deepest sympathies upon hearing of Linda’s passing.

We appreciated that we heard of the news in a most Linda-appropriate sort of way; through our lovely shared fellowship of the friends.

We well remember Ken & Linda’s welcoming home and table, and Linda’s factual but sunny spirit in the face of continued ill health. It was and continues to be an encouragement of the spirit in her example.

We wish you all well as our thoughts are with you today.

I am just sending lots of love to Ken and the whole Family.. Linda left us too early!! An example of her love was the Popcorn material she saw in the fabric shop and bought it for me … made me a lovely apron and cover for my bins.. I have used it at every Market since. She had a special love for our family and always called to see how everyone was and kept up on every new move and every new baby. Spiritual visits with her always enhanced my walk with God.

Linda was an amazing support to my mother Shirley Worden. She was the kindest and most caring person, whose generosity of spirit will always be remembered. A few years ago my mother came to visit BC and due to her health was never able to return to her home. Linda chose to take my mother under her wing and was the dearest friend my mom had here.
Thank you Linda, you have the gratitude of our entire family.

Linda was a special cousin. We had lots of fun times as little kids. Whenever we got together as adults we would reminisce about playing in our old barn and lots of other fun times. I never had any doubt about Linda’s love for her natural family and also her spiritual one. We will all miss her. Our thoughts and prayers go to Ken and their children.

Thinking of you Ken, Laura, Brian and David. I was very sad to hear of Linda’s passing. Linda, along with Sharon and Nancy, was one of my first roommates when I moved to Vancouver. She had many talents – piano, singing, sewing and she was always game to try new recipes! Linda loved organizing games nights and get togethers.
I will miss catching up with Linda at Glen Valley to hear the latest updates of what her children were doing.
I’m glad she was faithful to the end of her life’s journey.

Linda was a very dear friend. We shared lots of experiences raising our children together. Hardly a day would go past that we didn’t see each or at least talk to each other when Laura and Jeff were babies. As the years went on and we didn’t live as close together we didn’t see each other as often but Linda was still the same good friend a call was all it took to pick up where we left off. Meetings were always first priority and Linda was a godly example. I will miss you Linda. Thinking of Ken and family may you have comfort knowing she is not suffering and is on to her reward.
