Joel S. Williams, age 46, of Sterling, VA, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, VA.
On Sunday, September 27, 2020, Nannette Simpson passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and family at the age of 64 after a courageous three and a half year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Nannette was born on December 15, 1955 in Linton Indiana, grew up attending the Linton First Baptist Church, and graduated from Linton-Stockton High School in 1974. She graduated from Indiana University with BA in Photo Journalism in 1978, and an MS in Computer Science in 1984.
William Edward Lawson, aged 72, died on August 28, 2020, shortly after suffering a stroke. He departed this life peacefully, surrounded by his children, carried out on the voices of friends and family telling him of their love.
Alexander Spaulding Hobbs, awesome son of Chuck and Tracey Hobbs, little brother of Charlie Hobbs, ended his life of 27 years in Webster, Texas, on or around September 9, 2020. He was an ever-present source of happiness and humor to those around him — even as he privately struggled with the anxiety and pain with which, in the end, he decided he could no longer live.
Jeffrey Laurence Duncan (December 29, 1962 – August 1, 2020) was a man extraordinaire, having had a most wonderful and fulfilling life. Born the “apple of his mother’s eye” he continued throughout life to be “a star” in so many other lives. He was indeed one of a kind.
Alicia “Alice” De Asis Castro, age 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in The Woodlands, Texas. Her funeral service will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 at Addison Funeral Home, with a virtual connection, after which she will be cremated the following day.
Our beloved Teresa—or Terry, as she was known to family and friends—passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2020, after a courageous yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer.

Both Dennis and Bonnie loved sharing their passion and enthusiasm for aviation, and as Lifetime EAA members they mentored many Young Eagles, student pilots, and engineering students. Their greatest wish was to “leave a clean wake” – a phrase they held dear from their years at sea, meaning to make the world a better place. The impact of their lives on everyone who knew them is beyond measure, and there are no adequate words to describe how deeply they will both be missed.
Gwendolyn June Spicer was born on June 10, 1939 in Chicago Illinois, the third of five children to Rev. Ira and Berthenia Battle. Gwendolyn made her peaceful transition on September 11, 2020.
Robert Hugh McNulty, former resident of Gig Harbor, WA and Moraga, CA passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 81. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann, his 4 children, Rob, Steve, Kathy and Kevin, his 3 step-children, Dan, Doug and Sally Lonneker and his 9 grandchildren.
