William “Billy” Davenport was born in Chicago, IL on June 19, 1947, and ascended to eternal life at the age of 73 on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Billy was the oldest of two children born to William Sr. and LaRue Davenport who both preceded him in death.
Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend, Virginia Wall was called home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2021. She lived a virtuous life and demonstrated unconditional love and generosity to everyone she knew.
Jim was born to Melvin Block and Anita Wangrowe Block in 1937, and grew up in New York City. He graduated from Dartmouth College, Phi Beta Kappa, in 1959, and joined the family business, Block Drug Company, shortly thereafter.
Ruth Watkins Taylor, age 87, passed away on January 12, 2021 at the Palmilla Senior Living Facility in Albuquerque, NM. She was originally from “Between the Rivers” in Western Kentucky. She was born March 1, 1933 in Star Lime Works, Lyon County, Kentucky, to M.T & Dora Watkins, long time proprietors of the M.T Watkins Grocery and Fishing Camp located in that community.
Marci Sue Moore, 62, of St. Petersburg, Florida, took her last breath in the early morning hours of December 19th after almost two years of living with metastatic breast cancer. Her wife, brother, sister-in-law and the amazing care team at Suncoast Hospice Mid-Pinellas Care Center were at her side as she transitioned to the next life.
