Ralph Radom Obituary
Ralph Edmund Radom was born in Duncan, BC, the first child of Ed and Vonda Radom. At the age of 15, he gave his life to God, a faith he carried throughout his life. Ralph never took for granted the privilege of being appointed the elder of the church in his home for 49 years.
On July 17, 1970, Ralph married Lenore, who was the love of his life. Hepassed away two days before their 56th anniversary. He began his accounting career in Victoria, BC at National Motors. In November 1972, Ralph and Lenore moved to Richmond, where Ralph took the Controller position at the brand new dealership for Richmond Chrysler, a role he held for 12 years. He went on to serve as Controller at Dennison Chev Olds for 19 years before returning to Richmond Chrysler, where he worked until his retirement in 2012.
Ralph took great joy in spending time with his two sons, Colin and Ryan as they grew up. He orchestrated many shared adventures including annual back roading trips with his brothers and their sons, camping, cycling, boating and water skiing. Some of Ralph’s greatest joys came from spending time with his grandchildren, who adored their “papa”. He was a gifted musician, an exceptional and meticulous gardener and wood worker. He was detail oriented with everything he did. Ralph will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lenore, his sons Colin (Brittany) and Ryan (Tracy), his grandchildren Jake, Dax, Bree, Liam, Roman, and Matteo. He will also be missed dearly by his extended family and his many friends.

The Radom and Lewis families go back many years when all lived in Lake Cowichan, So glad I got to meet this family, I have very good memories of Ralph’s mothers kindness to my mother in law, Ralph had some of those same qualities in his life, Gone but not forgotten,

Linda and I have had limited time with you and Ralph, Lenore and have appreciated your kindness and generosity very much when that was possible. We are glad that you have such a Comforter. Our thoughts will continue to be with you and yours.

Ralph has been a close friend from my teenage years until his passing. I will miss our times together, playing music together, cycling, dinners and just stopping by for coffee and and quick visits. He was a true ‘gentleman’ with a kind and caring heart. He will be remembered by us fondly and I certainly cherished our time together. He is missed.
