Tessie Edner Davies Obituary
Tessie Edner Davies peacefully left this earth to go 1934-2025 to her heavenly home on December 26, 2025. She has left to mourn her loss, Ronald Davies, truly a devoted husband, Ruth Shannon, Edgar (Wendy) Jackson, Allan (MaryAnn) Davies, Edward Davies, Brian Davies and many nieces, nephews and friends near and far.
She was predeceased by her parents, William (Bill) and Sarah (Sadie) Jackson, brother Robert (at the age of 2), Muriel and Bruce Alder, Wilbert and Dolly Jackson, Jim Shannon, Donna and Ted Baines and Bridgette Davies.
Tessie was born on November 21, 1934 in Kirkcaldy, Vulcan County, Alberta. While still a baby, her parents moved the family to the Marron Valley homestead in the Penticton area. In 1955, Tessie moved to Red Deer, then Vancouver to take courses at Duffis Business College. At completion she moved to Kamloops in 1956. While working at Kamloops Moving and Storage, she was “wooed and won”by Ron Davies. They married on November 04, 1967 and resided at Christina Lake for many years. When the time was right they moved into Grand Forks, about 2013.
Tessie was loved by everyone who knew her. A funeral service will be held January 6, 2026 at Grand Forks Funeral Home and a burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
Special thanks to all her visitors and the caring staff at Rezanoff Cottage in Hardy View Lodge.

We first knew Tessie in the late sixties. Over the years, we didn’t see her often, but enjoyed every visit we did have. She was a gracious, hospitable lady, who will be truly missed. Our sincere condolences to the Davies and Jackson families.

Tessie’s family, “The Jackson kids”, as well as my family, “The Carlson kids”, had some “growing up” years together in Penticton. My memory goes back to the early ’50’s; Bill & Sadie Jackson & family always coming to our place for Sunday morning meeting. I remember Tessie was always happy…. and finding “something” to laugh about!….. Fond memories of her! And then meeting up with Ron & Tessie in Yuma for a few years, during the “winter months”…. Again good times together! Our condolences to you Ron in the loss of your beloved Tessie, And also to Ruth, Edgar &Wendy.
Love, Don & Edith-Anne Clegg
