Thanks for providing the video connection to the service. It was lovely. I know if Michael had been alive that he would have had very similar words about Roy that were spoken at the service. He would probably have had some funny stories about Roy as well. I remember Roy as a very loving husband to Helen and a man of great gentleness; and I saw a lot of Roy’s influence in Michael, especially his devotion to me and to our family. You were blessed to have had Roy in your life Helen, as were Michael, David and Matthew.

It brings back memories of Uncle Roy when I think of him being the eldest of “Ma’s Boys”.Uncle Roy had a quiet way about him but was so thoughtful as I remember my Dad saying how much he appreciated all the calls and cards from Helen and Uncle Roy after my Dad had his heart attack.Uncle Roy was kind enough to come back to Ontario for my Dad’s funeral and I will always appreciate all the effect he took to be there..Uncle Roy leaves such a huge impact with all his fabulous children and wonderful grandchildren that I know will keep all his memories alive.Uncle Roy you are remembered with love.

Thinking of you, Helen, in particular. You surely did have a long life together. I have good memories of being in your home and sharing in your hospitality. Many adjustments now. You will be glad for every good thought of Roy and am sure there are many! Thoughts and love go to you, Helen, and all.
    With love,,, Betty
