Terms of Service

Please note our cancellation policy

All fees are 100% refundable if you decide to cancel within 24 hours of your purchase and work has not started on your event. Cancellations after 24 hours of purchase or within 48 hours of your event start time are are non-refundable. No refunds are provided if cancellation notice is received This policy is in place to provide the best possible service and accessibility to our booking calendar for all customers. Thank you for your understanding.

Technical Systems Disclaimer

Due to the wide scope of devices and Internet connectivity situations, we cannot be responsible for technical issues caused by Internet connectivity or device error issues experienced by attendees and participants. We pledge to do our best to resolve any issues that are under our control to the best of our ability.

We are not responsible for the quality of media submitted for use in our production by the customer. All media produced for the customer will be provided for review prior the the event date, and if no changes are requested, the product/service provided will be deemed approved by the customer.

Refunds for Services Provided
Services provided in full as described on the customer invoice will not be refunded.

Limited Liability
Customers whose product/service is undeliverable will be entitled to a refund of applicable fees paid as outlined in the customer invoice. The customer will not be entitled to any additional compensation. Virtual Memorial Gatherings is not liable for products/services that were non-deliverable due to issues outside of our control. These can include but are not limited to the following circumstances:

  1. Loss of Internet Access during live streaming (camera recording will be provided post event, when our on-site videographer is engaged)
  2. No Internet Access Available for live streaming (camera recording will be provided post event, when our onsite videographer is engaged)
  3. Power Outage
  4. Change of date or time of event by client 
  5. Inclement weather or storm
  6. Access restricted to event venue by premises management/owner
  7. Technical issues caused by 3rd party streaming provider
  8. Technical issues experienced by an event attendee or event speaker

Notification of Recording and Client Responsibility

When event attendees will be recorded on camera it is the responsibility of the client to inform the attendees that their image and voice may be recorded and live streamed and included in a video production of the event that may be publicly posted. During events that are streamed via Zoom, a notification will be placed on each attendee’s device screen stating that the event is being recorded. At that time the attendee has the option to disconnect and leave the event or to dismiss the notification and remain connected.

Payment of your initial invoice is your acknowledgement and agreement to these terms of service.
