In Loving Memory of
Roy Gene Stowe
November 3rd, 1948 – March 25th, 2021
Virtual Celebration of Life was held on April 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM CDT
Beloved Father and Grandfather, cherished Husband and an all-around amazing human being, Roy Gene Stowe’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death. Roy is survived by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living life to the fullest.
Roy passed away on March 25th, 2021 at the age of 72 in Bastrop, Texas. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Roy: he loved a quiet evening with family and a glass of wine in hand, while sitting by the barbeque. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. Roy’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gently smile, loving heart and wisdom brought so much joy to our family.
He is survived by a loving wife of 30 years, Barbara Stowe of Bastrop, Texas, his son Anthony Stowe and wife Trish Stowe of Elgin, Texas, and three stepchildren: Lynette Casey and Steven Krohn of Sacramento California and Frank Slade of Eureka California, five grandchildren: Makayla Stowe of Campbell, California, Trevor and Kyle Bogue of Sacramento, California, and Justin and Ronan Stowe of Elgin, Texas.
A virtual Celebration of Life is scheduled for April 17, 2021 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon Central Standard Time. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please donate to your charity of choice.

RIP Roy. I worked with Roy several years in Santa Rosa and enjoyed working with him. He was a generous man.

We have been very close friends with Roy and his family for almost 50 years. Roy’s gentle nature and love will be so missed but always a part of us. Over the years we have laughed, partied and cried and we will miss him very much.
