I only knew Mary casually, through music events, but found her striking in her beautiful eloquence. She was always so kind. The last time I had the pleasure of her company was at the Brooks Theatre in Oceanside, for a piano concert featuring her loving husband, Robert Parker.
The vision of Mary’s smile that day is what I will hold in my heart.

Aunt Mary would always make me feel seen and heard. I still remember years ago when I did not feel beautiful she would tell me I was beautiful and that meant a lot to me. She was a very sweet person and I will miss you. Please rest in peace.

Bobby, Though I never got to meet Mary, I’m confident she is and amazing soul for like attracts like. I send you love and light in these difficult times. You are like a brother to me with all the history we have shared. We will continue to make music that I’m sure Mary will hear. Love you, Bret

Mary was a beacon of light that always brought kindness and comfort to others. She is truly missed by myself as well as the many lives she had touched with her warmth and compassion. Such a beautiful soul that was taken far too soon from us. Rest in paradise, Aunt Mary.

Robert My heart goes out to you for your great loss. Mary will always be in your heart and mind eye. I can still see her smiling. She will be missed. Wonderful ladies are hard to come by but the Lord made her especially for you. She will always be smiling down on you…every moment of ever day.

Steve and I never had the honor to meet Mary, but somehow we felt a bond to her because of our love for Bob. When Bob would speak of Mary, he glowed, that speaks volumes of Mary. Wish we could be with you. Our love and sympathy from Iowa and your Sunday Social family.

Sadly, I did not have the pleasure of knowing Mary. I met her only once at an OMA event. I send my love to Robert and my sincerest sympathy to him and Kassandra. May God give you strength.
