Mary Elizabeth Krause, born Mary Campbell, a loving wife, mother, friend, teacher, master chef, wardrobe queen and much more, will be missed by all of us who knew and loved her, briefly or over a lifetime. As many of you know, Mary had a kind heart, shown thru her teaching as well as her desire to take care of others.
As a Montessori teacher, her nurturing precense and encouragement, resulted in many “thank you’s” from parents and the grounded adults she encountered years later. As a fashion consultant, she sent clients out into the world feeling confident and looking great. As a buyer, Mary held her own in a fast paced, technology driven business environment. As a loving mother, she raised children who knew love and understood boundaries. As a loving wife, she was an equal partner, an advocate, a pillar of support and a best friend.
Mary is survived by her husband Robert Parker, daughter, Kassandra Krause, two sons (thru marriage to Kurt Krause, deceased), Jonathan Krause and Ryan Krause.
Surviving siblings are Susan Blank McKay, Barbara Colleton, and James Campell. Nieces and Nephews include Lindsay Kelley, Ian Campbell, Laurie Anne Sexton, Robert Blank, Justin McKay, Norman Colleton and Bonnie Colleton.
A thousand paragraphs will not capture the complete essence of Mary, because she resides in the individual stories we share and remember, now and forever.
We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to one of these organizations:
Now and Forever.”
