Keith Rudolph Young was born in Belize City, Belize on September 15, 1932 to Walter Alexander and Doris Idolly Young. He was the second eldest of twelve children.
Keith received his education in Belize at St. Mary’s Primary School and St. Michael’s College Secondary School. He received his certificate of completion, graded by Cambridge College in England, for scoring the second highest marks in secondary school.
Growing up in Belize, Keith was very popular and had many friends. He was known to be academically advanced and very talented at crafting wooden sailboats, which he sold at Brodies Grocery Store during the Christmas holidays. Keith enjoyed playing various sports and was a competent futbol and cricket player, he also had a strong arm which gave him the ability to power drive a bowling ball, however, his all-time favorite sport was boxing.
Keith came to the United States in his early twenties and settled in Chicago where he met Alma V. Smith, they married October 13, 1959. He worked in several different industries until he found his niche with U.S. Steel as a welder and crane operator.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings: Paul, Laura, Lloyd and George, and three younger siblings in their childhood.
He is survived by one brother: Kent, three sisters: Greta, Shirley and Yvonne, seven children: Wayne, Claire, Gayle, Janet, Aaron, Lynngail and Angela, seven grandchildren: Sydni, Isaiah, Andrea, Mitchell, Camille, Emmanuel and Sanai, one great granddaughter: Amadi and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

I pray the Resurrection and the Life , Jesus Christ calls to Himself and comforts all who loved and misses Uncle Keith. I remember most our long Apologetic discussions and his many questions. I pray his faith in Jesus grew to a settled conviction and assurance of His Great Salvation through childlike faith in His Person and Work – His Great Gospel!

I am very sad to lose my last surviving brother. As my second oldest brother he was a great inspiration for me growing up in Belize and I will always particularly remember his protectiveness towards me. I sadly spent little time with him in later years due to having lived in England since the 1960s, but he was often in my thoughts.
