So sorry I missed being with you on this special day. Jean has been a dear friend for years, since days we lived nearby in Carstairs. So many warm memories of sharing over the years both when we travelled together to Saskatchewan to visit family and in our homes. The last time I talked to her on the phone, she was with family packing to move to Olds lodge. I’m so sorry I didn’t get down to see her after that. She reassured me she had lots of good friends who visited and she was happy and content with her lot in life. My heart goes out to her family and those close by who will miss her keenly.
What a beautiful service in her memory11

We think of the family at this time, knowing loss because we are human, but at the same time rejoicing in the fact that she has gained the destiny that she lived and labored for-Home Sweet Home. Harold and Linda Hartin, Coaldale, AB.

Jean was very near and dear to our hearts. She looked after my Mom, Mildred, in her final
months dealing with terminal cancer. My Mom loved her dearly. She truly made those few months
more bearable for Mom and for us. We loved and appreciated her so much for her
dedication; kindness and caring. Jean was a wonderful person and all who knew her will miss
her friendly, loving ways. We thank God for allowing us to have Jean in our lives

We are grateful to have known Jean for a number of years and Greg and Trudi and family. Jean’s home was a Godly home and a happy home and a safe home to send our daughter Andrea when she attended Olds College. We are very thankful for Jean’s influence. Jean mothered and cared for so many of the friends’ children who attended Olds College. Much love to the family.

I have known Jean all my life, and always found her very special! As a young person growing up and going to Olds for union Sunday was always special, and I fondly remember Jean being a big part of that. She was always warm and kind and had a beautiful spirit, and I too was particularly drawn to that gorgeous smile. In later years we reconnected only at Didsbury convention year after year, and it was always special to see her continuing faithfully on. Memories of Jean will always be treasured!

I was glad to have a little time with Jean a couple of years ago. now. It was great to see her again, her smile is one I will always remember. I first met Jean when she moved to Olds, I would have been about 10 then. On behalf of my mom, Mary I’d like to pass on our care and love. Mom isn’t so able to take things in anymore, but she may have been able to understand Jean’s passing. She and Jean enjoyed a good friendship. Through the years on home visits I’d often be at Didsbury. It was always such a pleasure to see Jean again. Thinking of you al these days.

Jean was very kind to me as a young teen. I kept a book mark from her encouraging me in my Bible for years.
