Wally and I shared our birthdays at Goodkey’s for a few years. I enjoyed his thoughts at our meetings.

We really enjoyed any time spent with Barb & Wally. He was a natural born leader who was always smiling and welcoming. A very intelligent and interesting man, his photographs fascinated us and his stories left us wanting more. He professionally photographed a large family portrait for us – a treasured keepsake. No matter what he turned his hand to he excelled. An incredible man that will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Dear Barb. and family : We have many pleasant memories of you and Wally, since the “ beginning of your days. “ We witnessed the
growth in your lives. It. was a joy to behold. Wally was always a very pleasant man. We valued your friendship and fellowship. We know you will miss him, but it’s wonderful to realize he’s gone on to his reward. He was a “ runner “ by career, and it’s wonderful to realize that he has finished the spiritual race he began. He was faithful to the end. We have very pleasant memories of being in Sunday morning Meetings with you.
Our sympathy also to Wally’s family, who are feeling the loss keenly.

I miss our call on the 19th to wish one another a happy birthday. That day Dell and I will always remember now and in the future.
I fondly remember the couple of years after I retired being one of Wally’s walkers running joyfully in the park with Wally saying just a little more you can make it .
Great memories our times in Edmonton and calls and trips to see Barb and Wally in Vernon

Thinking of you in your time of loss Barb. I had fond memories of Wally during my time in Edmonton. He was a kind and uniquely interesting man. A specific memory I have of Wally was sharing the experience of being baptized back in 2001 on the same day as him and the group of us all riding back in the same vehicle afterwards. Love and sympathy.
